The arrival of summer means that it’s finally festival season! 🎉 Long weekends away at festivals are a great opportunity to discover and explore the surrounding local areas, whilst (hopefully!) making the most of that sweet summer sun, and the UK has a great choice of festivals all over. The Wingly team are giving you a helping hand to help you pick which festival to attend, having whittled it down to our favourite 3 festivals not to be missed! 😎

Camp Bestival is perfect for a weekend of music and fun for all the family set in the stunning grounds of Lulworth Castle. 🏰 Aside from the amazing music line-up, there is a huge choice of activities from bouncing on the world’s largest bouncy castle, to the superhero sports day and ending the weekend with the castle fireworks spectacular – the tricky part will be working out how to fit it all in! 🎆
What else is there besides the festival? Dorset is home to some breathtaking landscapes, including Lulworth Cove and the Jurassic Coast. After a fun-filled weekend at Lulworth Castle, make the most of the summer weather and take to the skies to admire these unique views from the sky. Wingly has a variety of flights over this stunning part of the UK, so what better way to end a memorable weekend on the South Coast?🛩
The coastal festival – Boardmasters

Where? Watergate Bay and Fistral Beach, Cornwall
What? Take a breath of fresh air at this seaside festival. This 5-day festival is the perfect combination of a weekend at the beach and a festival! Spend the days relaxing on the beach watching the professional surfer competitions, and if you feel inspired you can even try it for yourself!🏄♂️ For a more zen approach, join a beach yoga session or a wellbeing workshop. You won’t be short of places to eat, from oysters and fine-dining, to street food stalls and of course not forgetting the local speciality: the Cornish pasty! Then dance the night away to music of all genres, including the UK’s biggest silent disco! 🎧
What else is there besides the festival? Cornwall has so much to offer so why not stay on after the festival to discover the seaside towns and hundreds of other sandy beaches this county has to offer. After exploring Watergate Bay and Fistral Beach during Boardmasters, why not take to the skies to see the breathtaking Cornish Coastline from above on a Wingly flight? The perfect way to end a fun-filled few days on the coast.🌊
